Jazz on the Green is a free concert series in Omaha, Nebraska. Everyone is encouraged to bring lawn chairs, wine, and enjoy the music! This invite was especially fun to create because I grew up going to these concerts each summer with friends and family.
BWBR’s office location in Omaha hosts a yearly “Build your own cooler” event before each concert. Clients come to the office and have drinks, appetizers, and chat before walking down to the green space to enjoy the show with their newly created cooler.
The invitation was created in Illustrator. I played around with various colors, and fonts until deciding on the final design to the left. I wanted the instrument and the letters to play with each other without taking away from the messaging. The blue and yellow color palette felt the most classic to the jazz music. The invitation was then sent out to all the Omaha employees and clients to inform them of the event.
