The Goals
The goals of the project included; to clearly identify our capstone topic in a word or short phrase. Demonstrate strong use of grid. Demonstrate strong typographic decision making. Demonstrate the ability to develop a clear hierarchy that reinforces meaningful content.
The Details
Design like a designer. Engage an audience and essentially communicate that you are informed on your topic and that it is interesting. The focus should be typographic but also incorporate form, images, illustrations, color, etc.
The Process
My capstone topic is about the importance of sleep. I wanted to convey my topic idea in few words, while also getting people interested in the poster. I went through a lot of trial and error but decided to highlight the main idea that one third of our lives are spent sleeping.
The Requirements
Create a well-designed 36”x48” (vertical) poster that informs a viewer about the topic you are working with for capstone and gives some highlighted information about this topic.
